Riding & Horse Care

Learn the basics of safety around horses, how to feed, groom and handle a horse and take care of the equipment and tack.  

Private or Group Western lessons are available for beginners who need to learn the basics of riding, for those who would simply like to brush up on their riding skills and for more serious riders who want to improve their riding skills. Kids come and they learn about proper equitation (position in the saddle), horse behavior, handling, responsibility AND they also get to have fun with other “horse crazy” kids and adults too!

Annual Summer Horse Camp

• Held at the Rex Ranch Stables in Amado, Arizona. Dates to be announced.
• Monday thru Friday, 7 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
• Lessons, trail riding and swimming.
• Western or English riding will be offered.
• Horses provided or bring in your own horse.
• Cost for Camp is: $200.
